Hotel Cheyenne Disneyland Paris Full Hotel Guide

The Hotel Cheyenne is one of six Disney resort hotels at Disneyland Paris. It offers great theming and facilities at a lower price point than many of the other Disney hotels. We first stayed here in 2021 and have returned several times since because we absolutely love it. In fact, it’s become one of our top picks for accommodation at Disneyland Paris. In this post, we’ll cover everything you need to know about staying at Hotel Cheyenne.

Check out our full video review of Hotel Cheyenne on the “Rob on Holiday” YouTube channel, where we show you around the hotel and share our experiences!

Location

Situated on the picturesque ‘Río Grande’ river at the back of the resort, the Hotel Cheyenne is one of the furthest hotels from the parks, but it is still within walking distance. The walk takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on which building you’re staying in.

The hotel has beautiful surroundings, especially during the summer and autumn when the trees are in full bloom. It’s also away from Disney Village and most of the other hotels, giving it a peaceful and somewhat secluded feel—an ideal retreat after a busy day at the parks.

Theming

One of the standout features of Hotel Cheyenne is its impressive theming, designed to resemble a Wild West town. Walking through the resort feels like stepping onto a film set, with buildings named after town facilities like the jail, the attorney’s office, and even a bank (which houses a Starbucks!). There are also nods to famous Wild West figures such as Annie Oakley, Sitting Bull, and Butch Cassidy.

Toy Story theming is subtly incorporated throughout the resort, and the Woody’s Roundup theme ties in well with the existing theming details while adding an extra layer of Disney magic.

Rooms

The rooms at Hotel Cheyenne are cozy and comfortable, with most featuring one double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, accommodating up to four adults. Known as Woody’s Roundup Rooms, they boast charming Toy Story theming, including nice theming details such as a cowboy boot lamp and a horseshoe mirror. Here’s what you can expect in your room:

  • One double bed and one pull-out bed
  • Bathroom with bath/shower combo
  • Hairdryer
  • Safety deposit box
  • Charging outlets, including a UK plug socket

While the rooms are smaller than those at some of the pricier Disney hotels, they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, especially since you’ll likely be spending most of your time at the parks.

Note that the rooms are on two floors and there are no lifts at the resort, so request a downstairs room if you have mobility issues. You can also pay extra for rooms closer to the main facilities.

Food and Drink

Despite being a budget-friendly option, the Hotel Cheyenne is home to several dining locations:

  • Starbucks: Ideal for a quick, on-the-go breakfast or a caffeine pick-me-up after a busy park day. The Starbucks here is themed as a bank, adding a unique twist to your coffee run.
  • Chuck Wagon Café: A fantastic buffet restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. You’ll need to make a reservation through the Disneyland Paris app to eat here. We’ve enjoyed dinner here on several occasions and always found the selection of food to be excellent, catering to all tastes.
  • Red Garter Saloon: This bar serves drinks and a small selection of snacks, and is open from 4pm until late.

Getting to the Parks

As I mentioned, the hotel is a 20-25 minute walk to the parks, passing through Disney Village, which offers additional dining and shopping options.

If you don’t want to walk, Disney offers a free bus service from outside the hotel to Marne La Vallée train station, just minutes from the entrances to both parks. The buses run every 20 minutes, and the journey to the parks takes less than 5 minutes.

Other Facilities and Features

  • Laundry: There is a laundry room available for guests, although it is pay-per-use.
  • Character Meet and Greets: In the evenings, you can often meet characters like Jessie and Woody. While there are no official times, it’s a great activity for the kids if you’re around the hotel at the right time.
  • Pony Rides: Pony rides are available for children at an additional cost. Ask the concierge for more details. Note that these rides are not always available and depend on the time of year.

Review

The Hotel Cheyenne offers excellent value for money (Disney-speaking, of course), with great rooms, dining options, and a peaceful, scenic location that’s still within walking distance of the parks. It’s one of our top picks for hotels at Disneyland Paris, providing a unique and immersive Disney experience without breaking the bank.
